Hello is this an app to download or a web planning tool? I am concerned that we will stray from the litoral route when walking and want to be sure to find some way to stay on track. I downloaded the Buen Camino app but it doesn't have a specific Litoral route. I appreciate all the fantastic content on your site!

Good morning Darcy, thanks for reading, the planning tool offers two ways to navigate - a completely offline GPX file that you can download onto your device. There is also a Google Maps track of the Camino Portuguese Litoral Way from Porto to Santiago de Compostela from the planner. This can be used on a mobile phone for navigation. We created this map following the yellow arrows with a GPS device. The link can only be opened while online (with wifi or data), but navigation on the track works even when offline. Hello, I LOVE your site. I have used it for all my Caminos (1/2 Frances, Norte, Portuguese, Ingles now last portion of Frances). Your information and guidance is so helpful. I appreciate all the time and energy you have provided for all of us. Thank you! I am trying to use the Camino Frances Planner & it will not Plan My Journey. I cleared my history and tried also on my phone. Any other recommendations? Thank you.

Hi. Came across your site and think its wonderful. I am planning to walk the camino frances next month and I know its kinda last minute but I am 56yo and throwing caution to the wind! Wanted to try your camino planning tool but it seems to be stuck. Hope it works soon. Tq

Hello Philip. Thank you for the comment. The difficulty level depends on several factors such as elevation gain/loss, walking surface, total distance, and facilities (places to stop for food and water) along the route. Buen Camino
